Terms of Service

2. Eligibility and account registration

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under UAE law to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Description of the Service

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyse legal documents you provide. Outputs may include risk reports, plain-language explanations of clauses, suggested rewrites, and references to UAE legal provisions. The Service is intended to help users understand contracts and prepare informed decisions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) upload content you do not have a lawful right to share; (b) use the Service to violate any law, including UAE federal and emirate-specific law; (c) attempt to interfere with the Service's security or operation; (d) reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service except as permitted by law; (e) use the Service to develop a competing product; or (f) use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable-use rules.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents and content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Graysen a limited licence to process Your Content as necessary to provide the Service to you, including transmitting it to our AI inference providers under contractual data-protection commitments.

We do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models. We do not share Your Content with other users.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content (other than Your Content), and trademarks, is owned by Graysen or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms.

8. Subscriptions, fees, and cancellation

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and credit allowances are described at the point of subscription and may be updated from time to time on prospective notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise the relevant charges in accordance with these Terms.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graysen disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service or its outputs are error-free or that they will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graysen, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Graysen's total aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED 100), whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Graysen harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or in violation of applicable law.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or via your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if termination is required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
